Sons of Belial
Sons of Belial is given as a formal name when you look at the Hebrew it is more of a condition we are going to look at the condition ungodly men. Remember to think in chronologicle order.

Lets go to Hosea chapter 9 to set the time for us.
Hosea 9:7¶ THE DAYS OF VISITATION ARE COME, THE DAYS OF RECOMPENSE ARE COME; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.8 The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.9 They have deeply corrupted themselves, AS IN THE DAYS OF GIBEAH: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.
We see here the time given the days of visitation that it shall be as in the days of Gibeah. We are going to look at what it was like in the days of Gibeah...I am sure you all are familiar with this the perversion that was taken place we are going to look at a different aspect of it though.
Lets go to Judges chapter 19
Judges 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial <01100>, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
Beset and round about in the Hebrew is cababmeans to revolve or surround it is also translated in the English compassed. Keep this in mind that " The Ungodly Men compassed the house." We know from 1Corinthians 10:11 that all these things were done for an ensample for us today.
Lets go to Psalms chapter 18
Psalms 18 this the Victory’s Prayer. We see in introduction the Lord delivered him out of the Hand of Saul who is a type of Anti-Christ=Satan.
Psalms 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
Sorrows in the Hebrew is fig. A company as tied together. Death as we know from Heb 2:14 is satan. Here we have those ungodly men which is the same word as Belial HSN 1100. Floods of ungodly men we know that this is not a literal flood as water but rather a flood of lies, that issues out of the serpents mouth as written in Rev 12:15.
Lets go to Jude and see who these ungodly men are.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, UNGODLY MEN, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
This word before and ordained are used only 6 times( manifestation of sin- weakness of man- evils of satan. It means to write previously.
Lets go to Luke chapter 21
Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
We know that this is rather an entity rather than a condition this desolation, know that the " Desolator" thereof is nigh. Keep in mind who compassed the House in Judges 19 just prior to the destruction thereof and like wise check out Sodom and Gomorrah the house was compassed about just prior to the destruction thereof.
