Testimony of Jesus
This is a real simple study but I found something interesting and thought I would share it with you all. The verses I am going to use I know you all are familiar with. Think in chronological order.
Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY
We see here that the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. We have an example of this in the Word that, that was spoken on Pentecost day in Acts chapter two which is that, that was spoken of by Joel the prophet. Which to find out what was said on that day you must read Joel and you see that it was judgement another example of that judgement would be Daniel chapter 5 the finger of a man's hand which is the meaning of the Torah the Law the pointing of a finger. Lets just glance at Joel chapter 2
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
So we see this is the testimony of Jesus which is the spirit of prophecy.
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings FOR MY SAKE, FOR A TESTIMONY against them.10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
This is when God's Elect are delivered up for their testimony of Jesus which is the spirit of Prophecy when the Holy Spirit shall speak through them. Which in my mind it will be the sentence of judgement, please don't take that wrong I am not premeditating what will be said because as we know it will be given us in that hour.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,( GOD'S ELECT ) which keep the commandments of God, and HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST.
We see here what will take place after the Testimony is given.
