Trodden Down
We are going to look at two words The Hebrew word mirmac which means abasement (the act or thing) and the Greek word katapateo which means to trample down. There is a trodding down that is taking place today and will ultimately lead to a treading down of all those that have trodden down the Father’s Word under their feet.
Matthew 5:13 ¶ Ye are the salt of the earth: but IF THE SALT HAVE LOST HIS SAVOUR, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be CAST OUT, and to be TRODDEN UNDER FOOT OF MEN.
In the first verse of this chapter it tells us that Christ is speaking to his disciples not a multitude of people. Salt is used to season food, when something is blain just add salt and it changes the flavor of the whole dish. That is what one with truth will do make a difference. Salt is also used to preserve things. It is the Truth of God’s Word that preserves us from that day of destruction. A covenant of salt was made with David and his offspring, in 2Chronicles 13:5 that goes back to 2Samuel 7:12-16, that his house and kingdom would be established forever, that lineage in which Christ would come through who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Something interesting to note in the 14th verse of 2 Samuel chapter 7 it states I will be his father, and he shall be my son. IF HE COMMIT INIQUITY, I will CHASTEN HIM WITH THE ROD OF MEN, and WITH THE STRIPES OF THE CHILDREN OF MEN: And as we note here in Matthew chapter 5 when one loses his savour it is good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of MEN. Trodden down under, is one Greek word katapateo which means to trample down. It comes from 2 Greek words Kata which means down and pateo which means a path as trampled. It is used only 5 times(Grace) we will see this word again.
Lets go to Isaiah chapter 5.
Isaiah 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will TAKE AWAY THE HEDGE THEREOF, and it shall BE EATEN UP; and BREAK DOWN THE WALL THEREOF, and it SHALL BE TRODDEN DOWN:
Through the Word and the obedience of the Word we are hedged about. The Father is our Wall our Protection we see here He states He shall break down the wall. Trodden down in the Hebrew is mirmac it means abasement the act or the thing it is used 7times(spiritual completeness)we will be seeing this word again latter in this study. It comes from the primitive root ramac which means to tread upon (as a potter, in walking or abusively).
Isaiah 5:6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there SHALL COME UP BRIERS AND THORNS: I will also command the clouds that they RAIN NO RAIN UPON IT.
In John 15 we are told, those that bring forth good fruit are pruned, in order to bring forth more fruit Christ is the true vine we are the branches and the Father is the husbandman, If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. We are told in Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. And in Hebrews 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. In the Parable of the sower Luke 8:7 we are also told that some fell among thorns and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. And in the 14th verse we are told that those which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. In 2 Corinthians 4:4 it tells us that Satan is the god of this world that hath blinded the minds of those that do not believe. Rain is symbolic of the truth Father isn’t going to give them any. We know from Amos 8:11 that is not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.
Isaiah 5:7 For the VINEYARD OF THE LORD OF HOSTS IS THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
We are told in the 2nd & 4th verse of this 5th chapter that the Father looked that it should bring forth grapes but it brought forth wild grapes therefore shall it be eat up, trodden down, layed waste, and come up briers and thorns. Because rather than judgment there was oppression and rather than righteousness a cry. Oppression here is the Hebrew word mispach it means a slaughter this is the only place that this Hebrew word is used it comes from the Hebrew word caphach which means to scrape out, but in certain peculiar senses (of removal or association).
Lets go to Luke chapter 8
Luke 8:5 A SOWER went out to sow his seed: and AS HE SOWED, some fell by THE WAY SIDE; and it was TRODDEN DOWN, and the FOWLS OF THE AIR DEVOURED IT.
Notice that a sower sowed the seed which as we will see from the 11th verse is the Word of God which is what God’s elect are to do. Trodden down is the same Greek word as used in Matthew 5 katapateo it means to trample down. Fowls of the air are those unclean spirits that walketh through dry places seeking rest as spoken about in Matthew 12:43-45.
Lets skip down to the 11th verse where Yashua is explaining the parable to his disciples whom it is giving to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.
Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD.
Revelation 19 tells us that Yashua is the Word of God. The seed that the sower was sowing was the Word of God.
Luke 8:12 Those BY THE WAY SIDE ARE THEY THAT HEAR; then COMETH THE DEVIL, AND TAKETH AWAY THE WORD out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
These are those that hear the word but do not understand because the Word gets trodden down by men that muddy the truth up to were no one can understand the simplistic manner in which Christ taught.
Lets skip down to the 18th verse of this 8th chapter
Luke 8:18 TAKE HEED THEREFORE HOW YE HEAR: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Don’t look past that Christ said Take heed how ye hear. Hear what? Remember the parable is about sowing seed which is the Word of God. Because as we know from the 13th chapter of Matthew the devil came and sowed wicked seed the tares the Kenites amongst the wheat-God’s children and the servants were instructed to let them grow together until harvest time. These are those that satan will use to come and take away that which was sown in their heart-mind. Whosoever hath what? The Truth-The Word of God those that have the truth more shall be given to them that Key of David that opens doors that no man can shut. Whosoever hath not the truth even what they thought they had shall be taken. Matthew 7: 22 We see many that thought they had the truth and working for the Lord but were deceived. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Lets go to Luke chapter 12 a chapter I am sure you all are familiar with it is were the unpardonable sin is recorded which is blaspheme of the Holy Spirit, however though I want to pick it up in the 53rd verse of the 11th chapter so that we can get a good picture.
Luke 11:53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things 54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.
It is important that you note who is in the crowd the Scribes and the Pharisees this is the religious community. They began to get very angry they had it in their hearts to kill him. Christ told us who the Pharisees were in John 8:44, and like wise we are told who the Scribes are in 1Chronicles 2:55. Revelations 2:9 and 3:9 also tells us about those that claim to be Jews but are of the Synagogue of Satan. Remember Christ told us to take heed how we hear.
Luke 12:1 ¶ In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they TRODE ONE UPON ANOTHER, he began to SAY UNTO HIS DISCIPLES FIRST OF ALL, BEWARE YE OF THE LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES, WHICH IS HYPOCRISY.
The words Mean Time here in the Greek is hos a pronoun who, which, what, that. Green’s Interlinear has it translated In which things being assembled the thousands of the crowd, so as to trample on one another. Trode in the Greek is the same Greek word used in Matthew chapter 5 and Luke 8 Katapateo which means to trample down. A Pharisee is a Jewish Sectary. Hypocrisy in the Greek is hupokrisis which means acting under a feigned part. Christ would say in Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. And Christ goes even further to say in that chapter 23 in the 33 rd verse Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Lets go to Ezekiel 34
Ezekiel 34:7 ¶ Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock BECAME A PREY, and my flock BECAME MEAT to every beast of the field, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SHEPHERD, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the SHEPHERDS FED THEMSELVES, and fed not my flock;
How is it that one becomes a prey and meat, by not being taught the Word of God which is what preserves us from the day of destruction. There is a nation that is coming defacto and is at work even today that shall be and is swift, they haste to the spoil and speed to the prey. Beast of the field think of that one world system the Beast System of Revelation 13, and Daniel 7. Notice there was no shepherd, but the Shepherds feed themselves. They no longer had salt they had lost their savour. Many go to church for 20 years and still have need for milk when they should be able to teach but because they are not fed, they have need still for milk.
Ezekiel 34:9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and CAUSE THEM TO CEASE FROM FEEDING THE FLOCK; NEITHER SHALL THE SHEPHERDS FEED THEMSELVES ANY MORE; for I will deliver my flock FROM THEIR MOUTH, that they may not be MEAT FOR THEM.
What is this? It said in the last verse that they became meat to every beast of the field. But here it says he will deliver them from their-Shepherds Mouth, and that they may not be meat for them-Shepherds. Matthew 13:38 tells us that the field is the world. Remember I stated think of the beast system of Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 ? We are told in Daniel 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. In Deuteronomy 32:5 it tells us their spot is not our spot. Notice it has four wings of a fowl, remember in Luke 8:5 that the fowls of the air devoured the seed that was sowed, and likewise it was trodden down. We see here in the leopard is four heads which are the four hidden dynasties- Religion (were satan accomplishes a lot of his work), Education, Economy, and Politics.
Lets skip down to the 17th verse of this chapter
Ezekiel 34:17 ¶ And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
Notice we have changed from Shepherds and sheep. These are Kenites in part. Our Father is not happy at all, with those fakes- those who act under feigned parts. Rams and he goats leaders he will judge between them. It states in Matthew 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the GOATS ON THE LEFT. And in the 41st verse it tells what will happen to those goats, Then shall he say also unto them on the LEFT HAND, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Ezekiel 34:18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must TREAD DOWN WITH YOUR FEET the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must FOUL the residue with your feet?
They have consumed the pastures- the word pastor comes from the word pasture because they are to feed the flock. Tread down here in the Hebrew is ramac which means tread upon (as a potter, in walking or abusively) it is the prim. root in Isa 5:5 the Hebrew word for Trodden down mirmac comes from this word. Foul in the Hebrew is raphas it means to trample that is to roil water it is used only 3 times ( divine completeness) that is here and in Proverbs 25:26 and Ezekiel 32:2. They have muddled up the waters to were one can not even see the simplistic manner in the Father teaches us. Can’t even see the charity of God’s truth. Deep waters those waters that are still and good they have made cloudy and murky.
Ezekiel 34:19 And as for my flock, THEY EAT THAT WHICH YE HAVE TRODDEN WITH YOUR FEET; and they DRINK THAT WHICH YE HAVE FOULED WITH YOUR FEET.
Trodden down here is mirmac the same word used in Isaiah 5:5 which means abasement (the act of the thing.) Fouled in the Hebrew is mirpas it means muddled water it is used only one time and that is here it comes from raphas which means to trample that is to roil water it is used only 3 times They eat that, that the goats have trodden down with their feet. Remember what the famine of the end times is for not bread or water but hearing the Word of God.
Ezekiel 34:20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.
This is emphasis from the Father he is going to judge between those shepherds and the scrony sheep that they have ripped off.
Ezekiel 34:21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your HORNS, TILL YE HAVE SCATTERED THEM ABROAD;
Spiritually sick they have thrust with the horns which are symbolic of power. In Zechariah 1:18 ¶ Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold FOUR HORNS.19 And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the HORNS WHICH HAVE SCATTERED JUDAH, ISRAEL, AND JERUSALEM. The four hidden dynasties of Religion, Economy, Education and Politics.
Lets go to Isaiah chapter 10
Isaiah 10:5 ¶ O ASSYRIAN, the ROD OF MINE ANGER, and THE STAFF IN THEIR HAND IS MINE INDIGNATION.
Don’t look past that the Assyrian- which is a type for Satan who shall come, the Father said he is the Rod of his anger, a rod is for chastisement. The staff in their hand is mine indignation.
Isaiah 10:6 I will send him against an HYPOCRITICAL NATION, and against the PEOPLE OF MY WRATH will I give him a charge, to TAKE THE SPOIL, and to TAKE THE PREY, and to TREAD THEM DOWN like the mire of the streets.
Remember what it said in Luke chapter 12 the leaven of the Pharisees is hypocrisy. And likewise remember what it said in Matthew 5 if the salt has lost it’s savour it is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden down with the feet of men. Mehershalalbashbaz haste to the spoil speed to the prey. The four stages of the locust. Tread them down in the Hebrew is that word mirmac which means abasement (the act or the thing)
Lets skip down to the 17th verse of this chapter
Isaiah 10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, SEND AMONG HIS FAT ONES LEANNESS; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
Those fat cattle are going to be as scrony as the cattle they have ripped off
Isaiah 10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it SHALL BURN AND DEVOUR HIS THORNS AND HIS BRIERS IN ONE DAY;
Christ is the Light of the World. Remember Isaiah 5:6 the Lord said there SHALL COME UP BRIERS AND THORNS. Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. That fire that warms the heart of those that love and serve him, but consumes those that do not. At the sound of the seventh trump the Lord shall return, the Lord’s day is a thousand years.
Lets go to Hebrews chapter 10
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Think of the law of murder which is still very much in effect. Those who had slain our Lord and Savior and shall put to death the 2 witnesses. That is 2 witnesses and thus worthy of a spiritual death.
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath TRODDEN UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD, and hath COUNTED THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, wherewith he was sanctified, an UNHOLY THING, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Those that have trodden down that seed the Word of God-The Son of God shall pay dearly for it. Trodden under foot here is that Greek word katapateo which means to trample down. Those Scribes and Pharisees that are still looking for their Messiah to come, the do not even recognize Yashua as the Messiah. Counted in the Greek is hegeomia which means to lead that is to command with authority. They command that the blood of the covenant is an unholy thing.
Hebrews 10:30 For we know him that hath said, VENGEANCE BELONGETH UNTO ME, I will RECOMPENSE, saith the Lord. And again, THE LORD SHALL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
