The Will/Plan of God

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Pleasure in the Greek GSN 2307is thelema it means determination, choice or inclination; it is used 64 times in the NT 60 the # of pride and 4# of Creation. It is translated in to English only once to Pleasure 62 times will and once to desire. Pride being the downfall of Satan which brought about the Katabole therefore resulting in this World age that would bring forth salvation for all of God's children.

That is 3 things in which he is worthy to receive 3 being the number of divine completeness. Don't look past that time period given that is present this earth age and past even to the beginning of the 1st earth age.

Lets go to Colossians chapter 1

Colossians 1:1 Paul,( Little or Same) an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus( Dear to God) our brother, 2 To the SAINTS AND FAITHFUL BRETHREN IN CHRIST which are at Colosse:(Gigantic) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Don't look past who this book was written to the Saints and Faithful brethren in Christ that is 2 which is witnessing-division. Likewise we have grace and peace which is also 2.

Lets skip down to the 12th verse of this chapter.

Colossians 1:12 Ά Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Meet would better be translated able. Inheritance in the Greek is kleros which means a portions as so secured. Light is used 70 times in the NT which is the redemption of Israel.

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Power in the Greek is exousia which means right, authority; delegated influence. This word translated in the Greek is methistemi or methistano meta implying change histemi to cause to stand.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Redemption in the Greek is apolutrosis the act of ransom in full; Vines notes that " the forgiveness of our sins", indications both the liberation from the guilt and doom of sin and the introduction into a life of liberty.

Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

When you look at Christ you see the image of God. No flesh man can see God. Firstborn in the Greek is prototokos means first begotten; Vines notes that where His eternal relationship with the Father is in view, and the clause means both that He was the Firstborn before all creation and that He Himself produced creation.

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Heaven that, that is invisible to flesh eyes and earth that, that is visible to flesh eyes. Regardless of if the thrones, dominions, principality, or powers 4 things given (creation)are here on earth and are visible to man or are in heaven and are invisible to man He created them all. For his will are all things created as we saw in Rev. 4:11

Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Preeminence in the Greek is proteuo which means to be first ( in rank or influence). As we know from Rev. 12:4 in the 1st earth age satan influenced a third of God's children and they followed him. At the fulfillment of God's plan there shall no longer be anything that would draw his children away from him this thus being the plan/will of God.

Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

This word fulness in the Greek is Pleroma which denotes the fulness, that of which a thing is full; it is used 17 times in the NT which is the number of victory. Here we see God and the completeness of his being because as we know from Col2:9 that in Christ dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Dwell in the Greek is Katoikeo which means to house permanently it is used 48 times which is the number of probation 40 and new beginnings 8. So here we see the indwelling of the totality of the attributes and powers of the Godhead in Christ.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Peace here is the Greek word eirenopoios which means to be a peace-maker it is used only once( unity) and that is here. Reconcile in the Greek is apokatallasso which means to reconcile completely it is used only 3 times ( Divine completeness). Vines notes It is the Divine purpose, on the ground of the work of Christ accomplished on the Cross, to bring the whole universe, except rebellious angels and unbelieving man, into full accord with the mind of God.

Lets go to Ephesians

Ephesians 1:9 Having MADE KNOWN UNTO US THE MYSTERY OF HIS WILL, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Will here in the Greek is thelema GSN 2307 that same word that is translated pleasure in Rev. 4:11 which means determination, choice or inclination. Purposed in the Greek is protithemi which means to set before, set forth; it is used only 3 times we see that Divine Completeness again.

If we would have covered verse 4 of this chapter we would have seen that this is written unto those that were chosen before the foundation, we see it is not hid from God's Elect he has made The Mystery of His will known to them.

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Dispensation in the Greek is Oikonomia which primarily signifies the management of a household or of household affairs; it is used only 7times ( spiritual completeness). Vines notes it is used of the arrangement or administration by God, by which in " the fulness of the times" ( or seasons) God will sum up all things in the heavens and on earth in Christ. Times in the Greek is kairos which means a set or proper time.

He might gather together in one is 1 Greek word anakephalaiomai which means to sum up; something very interesting is one of the Greek words it comes from the Greek word kephalaioo which means to strike on the head.

Keep all of this in mind and then read 2Peter chapter 3 verse 9

2Peter 3:9 Ά The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Perish in the Greek is apolummi which means to destroy fully it is used 100 times ( God's Election of Grace--Children of the Promise. Satan's name Apollyon comes from this Greek Word. This is speaking of the second death of Rev 20:14.
