This page lists you assignments from September 6th^th, the day the project is assigned, and picking up again December 5th through 9^th the week presentations and papers are due. The web sites that are listed are designed to aid you in research and move the process along so be sure to use them!

äTuesday September 6^th	Sign up for topics today in class. The list will be posted on the bulletin board in the back of the class room. Choose topics carefully Discussion in class of the importance of local history and documenting it. Look on Cincinnati dot com in the archives section to get an idea of what is important to local history. Be prepared for class discussion. Discussion of paper and proper research MLA style research Groups will be descided by topic and I will be the desciding factor if there is conflict. No more then 3 people in a group.
äSeptember thru December 3rd	Research and Document your topic using a digital camera, the internet and PowerPoint Ask a historian Look for historic places in our area Get good free info Here are some great places to get started if you have questions ask when we have open discussion about the project on Fridays or email me
äMonday December 5^th thru Friday December 7^th	Presentations begin today! Please bring your paper and PowerPoint and be ready for class discussion after you present the rubric of your project will be handed to you at the end of class Remember to dress appropriately!
