Most talented cricketer of his generation. Steve Waugh like ice cold batting style and prospective captain of Pakistan Team. His "immaculate" first class record deserves him to be made the cricket team captain. Never played upto his reputation. Strong defensive style earning him titles of Hanif Muhammad but surprised by hitting that famous sweeping four to the fast bowler. This shot is only rivalled by Miandad's sixer at sharjah. Although never bowled in a first class match but an "effective" right arm "fast bowler". Can be very miserly with wickets and at times very much generous in terms of runs. "Atheletic" fielder who can drop the easiest of catches.

Performances in other sports:

Hockey : Played for 14 minutes as fast full forward in the hockey championship at LUMS. The opponents were so scared to look at my position. But I vindicated my selection as soon as I flicked the ball which was going directly into the goal and threw it outside. The opposing team was thus relieved. Football: Proud non-playing member of the six-a-side football team. But was called for help and responded by "dunking" the opposing team's star player. Within ten minutes I was back with the mission accomplished. Later due to injury to our captain, I was forced to play. Again the performance was to "dunk" opponents but that was the only match we lost in the tournament But we were again beaten like typical Pakistan team in the final match.
