There are obvious mistakes in year 1AC, 13AC, and 143AC involving the Goblins. History note 13 and History note 16 reveal that Althainia attacked Dolund'ir in 13AC instead of the other way around. A lone Goblin Spy managed to uncover this attack before it occured and gave his life for his people to warn them.

In 1AC, the Goblins maintain that Dolund'ir was formed by Goblins who rose up against their slavers, the Dwarves, rather than the Goblins invading a Dwarven mine from outside. The Lost Goblin Empire sunk into the swamps west of Althainia is taken as proof of this.

Needless to say, claiming that Goblins were created from skunks is highly offensive. What if someone suggested Humans were strained from weasels or hyenas?

There is also almost nothing said of the Ogres of Gruntz who must have had a history.

IV. A tinker gnome in the Red robes named Madul discovers blue diamonds.
A.The Althainian chancellor, once beholden to Hammurabi, declares Althainia independent of the Marauder Empire. (What sort of crap is this? This obviously never happened from the time Oge split from the Marauders)
A.Do'lundir attacks Althainia, laying siege to it.
B. The 'Great One', a male God believed to be Kwainin, could not sleep, and thus used his powers to stop all battles among kingdoms everywhere. Everyone anywhere who fought that day was turned into a stone statue!

V. A rift emerged in the material plane that would have destroyed all of Algoron if not stopped. The paladin Gunnar Draugrbane sacrificed his life to save the world. It is rumored he later became the Angel Milek, and at the angel's chest, a scar remains.

Yr 143 AC
VI. Raije grows tired of the spell of peace cast upon the realm. He instructs his adepts and avatars to announce of season of blood. The first of the annual Clan wars begins.

Yr 160 AC
VII. Some angels are cast down, forsaken. The first known demons walk Algoron.
A.The DragonSlayers expand their mandate and dedicate themselves to the destruction of all things unnatural, whatever that may mean.

VIII. The statues of the long frozen warriors from 143AC begin to regain life. The magics of the God fade. Hordes of once-frozen goblins lay siege to Althainia.
A.After a pause in the battle, the combatants realize their homes, their families, all their possessions are now gone to time. The battle does not resume, and all sides stop.

B. But there is no longer a home for them. With all of their families gone, these warriors who were frozen for nearly two centuries have no one to return home to. Their only family is themselves. One large group of these fighters decides to wander the realm, exploring the changes that have passed since they were frozen. They become gypsies.

IX. The mysterious and ancient disciples of Sarsen rebuild an ancient stone temple.

Revealed to be a true Suuhologist--a Heretic--he proclaims his own powers equal to that of any God. Moargoth the Heretic brings Drakkara’s wrath upon the Black Tower. He loses his ability to harness mana to cast even the simplest spell. Then summoned before the Gods themselves, he still cries out, defiant. Necrucifer damns him to eternal torment in the lowest planes of Hell.

XI. When the Queen of Nordmaar, Moira MacCallum is kidnapped, a yinn in Eclipse is accused of the crime. King Cathal MacCallum challenges the yinn to a duel, and Wryllish of Eclipse, a Crusader for Raije, stands in for her. Cathal is slain.

Yr 262 AC
XII. After three centuries of quiet, the yinn of Dae'tok lead a naval strike against southern Icewall, only to be turned back by the combined forces of Ganth, Nordmaar, and Althaini
A.The battle is later to be known as the battle of "Mutt Bay". An uneasy cease-fire is reached between the Nordmaarans and Dae’tok.

Yr 263 AC
XIII. The High Lord Vokkyn of Eclipse is assassinated.
A.Shay Kayen, a former squire of Gareth’s Keep, takes control of the Knights, and institutes a Purist policy. Only humans are permitted to remain in the Keep. Nonhumans must either leave, or become slaves.
B. The Purist War is fought for control of the Eclipse Keep. The Purists lose and are renegaded.

XIV. Kayen leads the renegaded Purists into the deserts south of New Thalos, where they begin construction of Storm Keep. This new order of Shadow Knights only allows lawful evil humans only, devoted to Necrucifer.

A.Austinian cannot condone this, and sends Kantilles and Kadiya to save the child. Malachive is not killed, but given instead to an unknown human to be raised in obscurity, unaware of his true origins. There is hope that he will be raised to aid the side of Good.

XVII. Necrucifer raises three demons from among the most deadly and fervent of the pantheon of darkness. The contest involves both wit and savagery. Many mortals meet his call for avatars. Only three survive. Once mortals, these three demons are charged with the protection of Malachive. They are: Pike (A minotaur crusader of Malice), Mariana (formerly a dark elven mage of the black tower), and Ethigrax (An ogre crusader of Eclipse). They become the avatars of Dragoth, Drakkara, and Devion, respectively.

Age of Darkness

I. Malachive becomes a man and takes up the profession of carpentry.
A.Mariana, her service as a demon to Drakkara complete, is returned to the realm in her mortal form.

II. Althainia, now the largest empire, responds to constant skirmishes with Do'lundir. The battle took seven days and would later be known as the 'Seven Day's War'. Both sides sustained heavy casualties. Many lives were lost. The green dragon Smaragdinus is killed in the third day. Though it nearly bankrupts Althainia's economy, they win the war and incorporate Do'lundir into their Empire.

B. One young priest of Necrucifer named Isadore Schwartz writes the Book of the Word. This book contains prayers and prophecy regarding the Dark God. For his efforts, he is the first among the new priests to be raised to the position of Deacon. C. A group of idealistic young Arkanian scholars, workers, and noblemen begin plotting and preparing to revolt against Marauder control in Arkane. They call themselves the "Sons of Liberty".

III. The Kingdom Balifore, led by King Tamrinith, revolts against the fading Aversian empire, assisted by Althainia, and Thaxanos. (I understand that the units were elven archers bought by an Althainian, but the rest of this you’ll just have to trust us on. Shalonesti and NT had nothing to do with this deal) Balifore regains its independence from the Marauders.
A.Some of the Sons of Liberty are captured. Facing rising tenions, the Marauders place them in a prison for political insurgents west of Arkane, the Bastille.
1. Arkane placed under martial law.
B. The Giant Ogre priest Serj is raised to the status as a Demon of Drakkara.
C. Necrucifer, in a fit of ironic humor, decides to return Moargoth to the realm as his champion. A demon Lord designed to become the general of the armies of darkness.

IV. A dwarven merchant named Randorf places an Arena construction project up for the highest bidder. The Algoronian Gladiator League is established several months later for the initial price of 250 jeweled eggs from the recovering city of Althaini
A.Within months, this arena is the most profitable business in all of Algoron.
A.A new star appears in the sky, lasting even during the daylight. As months pass, the star grows brighter, rivaling even the sun itself.

V. Arkane liberates itself from Marauder control in a bloody month-long battle, supported by Althainia, New Thalos, (Why does Shalonesti keep coming into this? They never do anything. ), and Balifore who now call themselves ‘The Coalition’ under command of the Emperor of Althainia, Serak S‘a Vinitta.
A.The Marauders, having gradually lost control over the Althainian continent, Balifore, and now Arkane, set a nonaggression pact with their sole protectorate, Verminasia.

VI. The star, a comet sent by Necrucifer, smashes into the Yinn capital of Dae'tok. A great mushroom-shaped cloud appears in the skies. Ash rains on Icewall for days. The yinn threat is destroyed. The few survivors of the blast form a refugee camp. The three moons enter a simultaneous eclipse for the first time since the theft of the Dracon a thousand years past.

VII. King Andelas and Ahziraz of Verminasia is nearly killed in an assassination attempt in the Algoron Gladiator Aren

B. King Vangar Silverwolfe and his Queen Rhyanna of Arkane step down and move to Althaini
A.Their daughter Damia assumes the throne, forsakes the Silverwolfe name.
C. The High Lord of Eclipse, Zayl, is cast out by Necrucifer when he attempts to turn the Eclipse Knighthood into an order for yinn only.

(Addition) The disaster known as the Great Cataclysm is initiated upon Algoron. Many of Algoron die due to the provocation of Malachive, Son of Necrucifer. The Eclipse is terminated by a Yinn opposition. The Gypsies wagons are burned by the kingdom of Necrucifer as order from Malachive. Malachive single-handedly obliterates the Pirates. The Stronghold of Gaar Volen is defeated by the Knighthood of Gareth. Valor, in return, is destroyed by Storm Keep. The Gods themselves become involved. The Conclave choose to bind together. A mighty blue destroys the Slayers' keep.

Time line is Huge obviously, as mentioned many times before Scorn told me when I was working on the original history of Althainia that he uses one month = one season etc. The most fervent RP’er I’ve met does one year per month aging…that would mean that since the first time I hit a history note I’ve been around for almost exactly 5 years now (June 24, 1998 is the first time I’m mentioned in a history note.) Thus by this dude’s timeline I should’ve aged 60 years. So between Scorn’s estimation of 15 years having passed since the first Dolund’ir attack and the hardcore rp approach of 60 years having passed, that would be the most the timeline would change. I’ve actually aged Serak around 40 times…he’s in his late 50’s now if I remember correctly.
