I think our chances are good after our bright start to the season by Zamalek Orangeball standards we have really cemented our place at the top end of the table. The departure of Hero and bogan who put in many substandard performances during the 2002/03 season has also improved our chaces of success. The signing of Todda from Fawkner and star signings of Ronaldo Orr from the test eagles and Didgy Rootwell on a free transfer have also improved a very strong squad. We should definately be able to remain in the top three and hopefully gain a grand final birth.
Question 2. What are your thoughts on the new signings?
Although his chronic hamstring problem flares up constantly Didgy Rootwell has managed to put in some very strong performances in his limited appearances, which have been rewarded with a couple of man of the match awards. He has also risked his diving career by venturing into the dangerous area of Thomastown to play. Todda on the other hand was a bit relunctent to represent the o'ball instead of his beloved Fawkner. However after a slow start Todda the token ethnic has became an important member of the team. Ronaldo Orr has probably been the biggest success as he made an immediate impact, especially in pissing off opposition goalkeepers. Ronaldo and Kamp have a very good partnership on field which has made the O'ball look very strong in attack.
Question 3. Are you disappointed at the indescretion which led to Mitch Kamp being shown a yellow card earlier in the season?
NO, there was nothing in it, it was just yet another piss poor refereeing decision.
Qusetion 4. Still on Mitch Kamp, what was with his unexplained absences on numerous occasions?
I'm very very disapointed at this as it appears Kamp was absent due to a bit of thumb action from his mum. But in saying that who wouldn't want to stay home with Melissa.
Question 5. What do you think about the standard of refereeing so far this season.
One of the Sunday ref's was alright but other than that It's been fuckin terrible. The usual ref has no idea on how to use the scoreboard or referee, he is pathetic. We want the old ref back.
Well we played poor thats for sure. We only managed to win one of the games when really we were in a postion to win all of them and in the game we won it was closer than it should have been. Really we were missing a few experienced players like Mitch Kamp again and the rookies failed to cope with the pressure.
Question 2: What do you think of Duff captaincy this season?
It has been great as always he has not missed a game and really he has showed every body how the game should be played. Of corse he has had a RED and YELLOW card card before but thats a good thing it shows his commitment. He is the best captain in the leauge and will lead us to victory this season.
Question 3: What are your thought as a GoalKeeper about Orangeball's defence this season?
Well I am a bit disapointed. This season has seen Snozza grow into one of the best defenders you would see but we have been let down by others not helping and it has ment that I have been left in some cases to try and stop 2 attackers by myself and thats near impossible. But really The defence is alrite.
Question 4: What about the allagations made recently about Snozza's Sexuality?
Due to legal reasons The answer to this question may result in legal action against Da Mop productions so therefore it has been deleated.
Question 5: Currently The O.Ball has 8 active players in its squad, what will happen come finals time?
You will have to wait and see but at this stage we will probably play all 8.
