| How I got involved with this Zam Wesell project: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| My husband is an avid Star Wars fan who assembled and built much of his Darth Vader Costume. Wanting to go with him on outings, I dressed as Queen Amidala. Unfortunately, the costume was not as detailed as his. So, hoping to make something that was more note-worthy, we decided to build a Zam Costume. Little did we know it would be one of the hardest costumes to undertake. |

| Our theme at our wedding reception was the Star Wars theme, our wedding cake had Darth Vader and Queen Amidala figurines on them. |

| My husband and I are also a part of the non-profit organization the 501st Old Line Garrison. This is one event where he dressed as Vader and I as a suffocating Greedo. The Greedo costume was a quick costume that we threw together. Needless to say, he played his part well... |

| This is the mostly finished Zam costume that made it's premier at Dragon Con 2003. After loads of work with many friends and my hubby, the costume won a medal for the best female costume in Attack of the Clones at the Star Wars Costume contest there. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Is my costume as nice as my hubby's? Well, lets just say the upgrading saga lives on! |
