EACH CD contains a cross-section of moods, providing an easily accessible music library of dramatic atmospheres, with music ranging from melodic to more abstract or open; each selection lasts 3 minutes.

CD TITLES: indicate the thematic source for the pieces on each CD. Mood is suggested by the titles of individual selections: eg. HOPE (from STATES OF THE SOUL), DRAGON FLIES (from INSECTS) and DEW (from ELEMENTS) are all luminous, joyful.

2-DUAL MOOD ANTHOLOGY SERIES

Most of the songs in this 8-CD series have been selected from Library of Atmospheres CDs according to mood, so that each Dual Mood CD contains songs based on only two-opposing-moods. Half the songs are in one mood, half in the other (e.g. Humourous & Mysterious, Hope & Sorrow). As with our other projects, each CD provides a range of melodic, abstract, and rhythmic selections. Dual Mood CDs also contain new songs, not found in the Library of Atmospheres CDs.

SYMBOLS into SOUND…..MUSIC from HIEROGLYPHICS….SYMBOLS as MUSIC… Any way you phrase it, we are exploring a new direction in sound, symbols, teaching and learning. Inspired by a series of simple hieroglyphic-like signs, the music on this new CD varies from extremely abstract, visually suggestive pieces to melodic, mood-inducing selections.

What do zig-zags, spirals, circles, squares, waves, arrows, asterisks and nebula sound like? How do they make us feel?
