May 20th, 2009. Ottawa Catholic and Ottawa Carleton Boards of Education. All-day workshop entitled: OTHERwise…INSTANT CHOREOGRAPHY/ INSTANT CURRICULUM! For intermediate teachers (Grades 7 & 8) from both Boards on introducing the newly revised Ontario Dance Curriculum.

May 21st. University of Ottawa. Canadian Association of Curriculum Studies (CACS) 3rd Annual Pre-CSSE (Canadian Society for Studies in Education) Conference entitled Provoking Curriculum. I presented an "interacive paper" entitled: Uncommon Absences: A Call to Reinstate Our Universal Languages Through and Throughout the Curriculum

May 22nd. Carleton University, Ottawa. The Language and Literacy Researchers of Canada (LLRC) Pre-CSSE Conference. "Exquisite Attention." I presented a paper entitled: Re-examining our universal languages and their potential in teaching and learning, which was critiqued by colleagues in the small-group format.

2009 Toronto


June 4th. OISE(Ontario Institute for Studies in Education), Toronto. A 2.5 hour workshop in using movement and music for the Intermediate Level Additional Qualifications Course in Drama in Education.
