Last year daylilies became very important to us... Not from a botanical point-of-view, no... Let's just say that something as unlikely as a bunch of daylilies can be instrumental in illustrating life's little lessons.  For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I offer this advice: Read the fine print on all real estate contracts -- don't trust your agent to do it for you....

On this page we are sharing some photos of our daylilies from this spring (2004).  Each morning was a surprise as we were never sure want to expect.  A few of the plants were purchased -- but since we have never really grown these before the labels did not tell us much. The majority of these, however, were what they call 'pass-along' plants: gifts from my Aunt Ada and my sister Peggy.
