Dal Makhani

Ingredients
Toovar dal ,Urad Dal , Moong dal  1cup
Finely chopped tomatoes and Onions 1cup
lemon/lime juice 2tbsp
coriander chopped
Zeera(cumin seeds) and rai seeds(mustard seeds)  1/2tsp
Oil 2tbsp
chilli powder 1/2 tsp
tumeric powder 2pinches
garam masala(finely ground cloves,cinnamon,cardamom) 1/4tsp
ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
Butter 2tsp.
salt

1.Wash and soak the dals for about 10minutes
2.cook the dal with 1cup of water and tumeric until tender.
3.mash the dal add salt and keep aside
4.Saute the onions,zeera,rai and add ginger garlic paste.Then add tomatoes and the masala(chilli powder,tumeric,garam masala).
5Mix the mashed dal  in sauted onions.add little water and bring to boil.
6.Mix lemon juice and butter.Stir until butter melts.
7.garnish with chopped coriander and serve with naan\roti\rice
