1.Toasted bread or dried bread slices cut across 8-10 2 whole milk 1cup 3.sugar syrup-2cups 4.cardamom powder 1/2 tsp 5.chopped almonds and cashews 1/2cup 6.Raisins 1/4cup 7. oil or ghee to deep fry |

1.heat Oil or ghee.Fry the toasted bread until golden brown.Strain the excess oil. 2.add cardamom powder in the sugar syrup 3.dip the fried pieces in the sugar syrup for a minute until nicely soaked in syrup. 4.boil milk until it becomes half of its quantity.Then add the soaked slices in the milk. 5.cook until the milk is all absorbed.Stir in raisins. 6.garnish with chopped almonds and cashews 7.serve warm or chilled. |
