Falafel
Ingredients
Dried Chickpeas 3/4cup
Onion, chopped 1cup
Garlic cloves, chopped 2
Parsley chopped 1/4cup
cumin seeds, crushed 1tsp
coriander powder 1/2tsp
baking powder 1/2tsp
Salt and black pepper
Oil for deep frying
Preparation
1.Soak the chickpeas in  cold water overnight.
2.Boil chickpeas  until soft, which usually takes about 1 hour. Drain.
3.Process  the onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt and pepper  until the mixture thickens and forms a paste
4.Shape the mixture into walnut-size balls and flatten them slightly.heat oil for deep frying. Fry the Falafel 4 at a time until golden. Drain on paper towels and keep warm in an oven until its time to serve with warm pita bread ,sour cream and salad.
