| Preparation | ||||||||||||||||||
| 1.Soak the chickpeas in cold water overnight. | ||||||||||||||||||
| 2.Boil chickpeas until soft, which usually takes about 1 hour. Drain. | ||||||||||||||||||
| 3.Process the onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt and pepper until the mixture thickens and forms a paste | ||||||||||||||||||
| 4.Shape the mixture into walnut-size balls and flatten them slightly.heat oil for deep frying. Fry the Falafel 4 at a time until golden. Drain on paper towels and keep warm in an oven until its time to serve with warm pita bread ,sour cream and salad. | ||||||||||||||||||
