Kadoo Ka Dalcha
Ingredients
Toovar Dal 1/2cup
Chana dal 1/2cup
Onions chopped 1
Green Pumpkin/Kaddoo(cut in cubes) 1 small
Tamarind paste 2Tbsp
Red chilli powder 1/4Tsp
Turmeric 1/4tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
Curry leaves 2stems
Oil

Method
1.Wash and Soak the dal for about 30minutes
2.Boil it with a cup of water and pinch of tumeric and  red chilli powder untill tender
3.In a separate vessel saute onions and mustard seeds.When onions are slightly brown add ginger garlic paste.saute for another minute.
4.Add the pumpkin pieces and rest of the spices.Add a cup of water and cook until pumpkin is tender
3.Mash the dal and add salt and tamarind paste and the pumkin curry along with 2cups of water.
4.Add curry leaves.Bring to a Boil
5.Serve with
rice.
