Masala Upma
Ingredients
1.Sooji(creme of rice) 2cups
2.Onions chopped 1small
3.Curry leaves 2stems
4.Green chillies chopped 2
5.Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
6.Tomatoes chopped 1big
7.Mixed vegetables chopped(beans,carrots,corn) 1cup
8.Tumeric 1/4tsp
9.Garam masala 1/4tso
10.Chilli powder(optional for more hotness) 1/4tsp
11.Ginger chopped 1tsp
12.Salt and Oil

Method
1.Saute onions with curry leaves,mustard seeds and chopped ginger.
2.Add tomatoes and cook until soft.Add the vegetables fry until tender.
3.Add the spices and saute for a minute
4.Add about 3cups of water and bring to a boil.
5.Slowly add the sooji while stirring continuosly to prevent lumps.
6.Cover and simmer for 2minutes.Garnish with roasted cashews.serve with tomato pickle.
