Mirchi Ka Salan Ingredients 1.Medium Green Chillies 6 2.Ground nuts 1/2cup 3.Zeera(cumin) seeds 1tsp 4.Ginger garlic paste 1Tsp 5.Chilli powder 1/2tsp 6.Tumeric 1/4tsp 7.Garam Masala(ground cloves and cinnamon) 1/2tsp 8.Onions 1/2cup 10.Tamarind paste 2tsp 11.Curry leaves 2stems 9.Oil and salt 1.Wash the Green chillies and slit in the middle without cutting them totally.Remove some seeds to reduce the hotness. 2.Shallow fry them along with curry leaves and keep aside. 3.Roast ground nuts and zeera and finely grind them. 4.In the same oil of fried chillies saute onions untill brown. Add ginger garlic paste saute for couple of minutes. 5.Add the remaining spices along with the groundnut and zeera powder.saute till the oil leaves the vessel. 6.Add tamarind paste and 2 cups of water. bring to a boil and add the fried chillies and curry leaves. 7.cook untill chillies are tender and serve with rice. |
