Coconut Chutney Ingredeints Fresh or Frozen coconut 2cups Curry leaves 2stems Dry Red chillies 3 Zeera(cumin seeds) 1/2tsp Corainder seeds(Dhania) 2tsp Tamarind paste 1tsp Salt Mustard seeds,curry leaves and zeera for Tadka 1Tbsp Oil Method 1.roast the red chillies,corainder seeds and cumin seeds until light brown. 2.Cut the coconut in to small cubes.Grind it with curry leaves,roasted red chillies,coriander seeds and cumin seeds. 3.Also blend in the tamarind paste and salt. 4.Prepare tadka by heating oil and adding mustard seeds,curry leaves and zeera after they start splattering pour it over the ground chutney. 5.serve with idli or dosa. |
