Dahi Bade Ingredients 1.Chana flour 2cups 2.red chilli powder 1/4tsp 3.turmeric a pinch 4.salt 5.pinch of cooking soda 6.oil to fry 7.finely chopped coriander(cilantro) and onions 1/2 cup 8.yogurt 2cups 9.tamarind date chutney 1tsp 10.Mustard seeds,zeera,curry leaves ,dry red chillies for preparing tadka. 11.Oil 2tsp Method: 1.Make a thick batter by mixing chana flour,salt,chilli powder,turmeric with water. 2.heat the oil, take little batter about a spoon ful and fry in the oil till light brown 3.whip the yogurt.add a little salt and chopped coriander. 4.Drop the fried bade in to the beaten yogurt. 5.Prepare tadka by heating 2tsp of oil and add the spices.fry until they start to splatter.then pour over the dahi bade.garnish with tamarind date chutney. 6.Refrigrate for an hour and serve cold. |
