Karela Fry 1.karela 3medium 2.Cumin(zeera) powder & dhania powder 1/2tsp 3.Chilli powder 1/2tsp 4.Turmeric 1/2tsp 5.Milk 1cup 6.Salt and oil Method 1.Scrape the rough skin of karela .cut the karela in to medium pieces.Deseed it(should be like empty pipes) and boil it in salt water for 30minutes (to remove bitterness).Add some milk if the karela is very bitter. 2.Drain the water.Thinly Slice the karela. 3.Heat 2tsp of oil and fry the karela.When lightly brown add chilli powder,turmeric,zeera ,dhania powder and salt.Fry until crispy.serve with rice. |
