Punugu Ingredients 1.Urad dal 1cup chana dal 1/4cup Moong dal 1/2cup 2.Onions chopped 1small 3.Green chillies chopped 2 4.Cumin seeds (zeera) 1/4tsp 5.Baking soda(optional for rising) one pinch 6.Baking powder(optional for softness) 1/4tsp 7.Salt 8.Oil for deep frying Method 1.Soak dals for 2-3hrs.Grind it to a paste. 2.Mix the dal with all the ingredients except oil. 3.Heat oil for deep frying.Wet/grease hands.make small size balls and carefully drop in hot oil. 4.Fry them until golden brown.serve any chutney |
