Scones
INGREDIENTS:
all-purpose flour 2cups
brown sugar 1/4cup
baking powder 1tsp
Salt 1/4tsp
 butter, chilled  1stick
fresh blueberries  or cranberries or raisins 1cup
half-and-half cream 3/4cup
egg 1
Preparation
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.Cut cold butter into cubes and mix in to the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add blueberries and toss to mix.
3.In separate bowl beat together cream and egg, and slowly pour into dry ingredients, stirring with rubber scraper until dough forms. Knead gently just until it comes together.
4. Shape the dough in rectangle. Then cut in 4 squares and cut the squares across to make triangular pieces. Place them on lightly floured board.
5.Bake on un greased sheet about 20 minutes at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Serve warm!!
