DOUGH INGREDIENTS: | |||||||||||||||||
All purpose flour 3cups | |||||||||||||||||
olive oil or vegetable oil 1/3cup | |||||||||||||||||
salt 1/4tsp | |||||||||||||||||
FILLING INGREDIENTS | |||||||||||||||||
spinach chopped 2lbs | |||||||||||||||||
onions chopped 1cup | |||||||||||||||||
olive oil 2tsp | |||||||||||||||||
salt and pepper | |||||||||||||||||
lemon juice 1/4cup | |||||||||||||||||
1.Sift flour then mix with oil. Add the rest of the dough ingredients and mix well. Knead till dough is smooth. 2.Roll 3inch circles with the dough. 3.Mix the filling ingredients. Take tablespoon of filling mixture and put on each circle. close the pie and make 3cuts in the center for air to escape. 3.brush each pie with vegetable oil or egg wash and put in greased baking tray. 4.Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes till brown. 5.Serve as an appetizer either cold or warm. |
