VegatableBiryani Ingredients 1.Basmati rice 3cups 2.Mixed Vegetable(Carrots,Beans,Peas,potatoes)-2cups 3.Garam Masala(powdered cinnamon,cardamom,zeera) 1/2tbsp 4.Red chilli powder-1tsp 5.turmeric 1/2tsp 6.Salt-1tbsp 7.Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp 8.crispy fried onions-1/2cup 9.yogurt-1cup 10.oil -2tbsp 11.lemon juice-2tbsp 12.coriander and mint leaves(green masala)-1/2 cup Method 1.heat oil.add vegetables fry for 5minutes. 2.add ginger garlic paste.fry for another minute. 3.add yogurt,garam masala.cook untill water is absorbed. 4.soak rice for 15minutes.heat 6cups of water with salt 5.add rice cook it untill its nearly done.drain water. 6.In th same vessel.make layers of rice and vegetable curry.with rice at the bottom and curry in the center. 7.add onions,green masala and lemon juice on the top 8.cover tightly .cook for 10minutes. 9.mix layers before serving. |
