So, you want to get into silicone... Well, I use Dragon Skin silicone for a couple reasons, if someone touches it, they freak out by how it feels, as well, as the way it looks, its durability, and life. |

First thing we do is find something we want to make. For this tutorial, I'll pick my first project, the Demon Saylos from "Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman" |

To start, go and buy yourself some clay. This is a 34.75 lb box of Roma plastilina #2 (soft) It contains a bunch of 1/4lb sticks, seen here unwrapped. Found at http://www.fxwarehouse.info |

Next, I broke up how i was going to make the suit in my head (Total of 5 pieces. Head, torso, legs, each foot) And began working on the legs for whatever reason. |

Now, you may go "Hey Zasshu! what about the fiberglass guy?! I dont know where to get one of those!" Well, heres the trick: YOU CANT. You HAVE to make it yourself. My method for bodies i got off of http://www.bioweapons.com but there is other methods. As for a head armature, try google. I'm sure you can find something. If no one you know wants to do this stuff to you, you can get a head armature from http://www.burmanfoam.com look under their drop down bar for "full size head". If you can't find someone for a full body... Look for local halloween haunt clubs. They're usually willing to do crazy things like that. (Heck, if you come to my house in michigan I'll do one of you) |
