| Malean Wasteland |
| The Malean Wasteland is debatably the most evil and most feared of any Alliance. They have no value for laws or goodness. Undead live side by side with brainwashed and powerless commoners. The Malean Alliance is ruled by the terrible and evil Anti-Paladins, the complete antithesis of their sworn Benitian enemies. The Malean Wasteland is located far to the south, in a desolate desert. An unstoppable army of warriors tainted by the plane of darkness and shadow, called the Shadow Swarm, wanders the desert and often leads battles against other nearby Alliances just to enjoy the bloodshed. The soldiers of the Shadow Swarm share thoughts, feed to a collective group-mind. They are hybrids of men and insects, and have little vestiges of personality left in them. All alliances secretly fear the Shadow Swarm appearing in their lands--no one is sure if the Swarm is even beatable. Citizens of the Malean Alliance are truly slaves of the army, oppressed more than any other people in Entasia. Living in obedient fear of their Alliance, Malean commoners are shells of men, often going insane before middle age. The Malean flag is an black ankh, hanging upside down. |
