The Protean Alliance is often called "The Home of the Wanderer". The Protean Alliance is actually five kingdoms which live in general peace with each other. The Proteans are adventurers at heart, highly valuing the rapidly changing life that only the open road can provide. They believe in doing good deeds, and heartily celebrating them. The Proteans love life, and appreciate the finer things in it, like sunsets, good wine, and music.
Wandering heralds, known as the High Bards, have learned about all the arts- magic, fighting, singing, dancing, literature, heraldry... they are students of all schools. The kingdoms of the Protean Alliance often fly along side the Protean flag, which is a golden road leading into a golden sunset on a red background. |
