Kat's parents died when she was very young. Just after Princess Emeraude disappeared (was captured), a monster came and attacked them. Kat's mother ran with Kat in her arms deep into the forest of Silence. A monster followed. As a last effort to save her child, her mother hid Kat in a bush and was killed by a monster. Soon after, Ferio was walking by (he had just left the magic knights) and saw the monster standing over a body. He thought the woman was still alive so he ran up and killed the monster. He realized that the woman was dead when he checked for a pulse, and was about to leave when he heard a whimper in the bushes. There he found Kat.
Ferio pretty much raised Kat from that moment on. Kat grew into a fine young teenager and hung around with Ferio all the time.
When Ferio remembered he was the Prince and Cephiro started crumbling, They both went to the palace. Kat got a brand new spiffy outfit which she loved very much.
Kat made friends with Clef, Ascot, Caldina, and everyone else very quickly. She was pretty loved by all, although when she got hyper she got kind of annoying. But she brought joy to most of their lives.
one day Kat was zapped up to the NSX and there she made friends with Zazu and Christy. But not really with Geo or Eagle. She flirted with Zazu for a while then they began to like each other ^_^ kawaii.
