It was a Best Western. Good pool. Has tennis courts, pay TV, bike rentals, massage, etc. No A/C, but a bit cooler in that area. Very far from everything. There was really no way of transportation to get into the main part other then you tour bus or a taxi, but there might have been a train to take.

Hotel was built 1870, quite old, a bit musty smelling, but very nice. Had a special character. We had a balcony with very old looking shutters (Very Pretty). This was the first hotel with A/C!!! And we needed it! This hotel was very close to the beach, only two short blocks away! We get to walk past the markets were you can get some good deals for gifts During the evenings, it is a must to go out and see the night life in the markets. There is one street that is only for pedestrians between the hotel and the water, it is very active in the evenings with music and people are everywhere! Very spacious room too, just be careful inside the shower, coz curtain clings to your skin while you are taking a shower. Each room has different set-up, wallpaper theme and bathroom décor.

Modern hotel room, It was all electric! You have to keep a key card in the lock at all times in order to turn the room on. Once removed, the room would shut down completely in about 5 minutes. There was A/C! Hotel location is a bit far from the main center of town, but only stayed there 1 night so its okay.

The best hotel in our trip. Our nicest room. Also has A/C/ This is quite a new hotel, the room is very spacious, even has a sofa inside the room. Nice bathroom too, where you can close the toilet door and still be able to have the other person access the sink or the shower. Hotel location is outside main Venice area though, but works out pretty well, since most of the time spent with the group, and bus takes you to town proper.

Small rooms. Had A/C, but they would shut it off in the middle of the night. There was a balcony on one side of the building over looking the olympic sized pool (huge!). But the other side only had a door that opened to a piece of concrete and overlooked the garbage area! Had a fridge, but ours didn't work! Nightly entertainment by the poolside. Bathroom is odd coz shower control and spout in the middle of the bathtub, so often you will bump into the spout while taking a shower. American breakfast was served here which included hard boiled egg, fruits, ham and cheese, and even yogurt.
