Was March Break Worth It

March break was indeed very much worth it.  I flew to Houston, Texas along with my mom for two weeks, to visit my sister and her husband.  I had not met them for fourteen months.  They were the only brother and sister I had and loved.  I was very eager to meet them after such a long time, which seemed like ages.

I was very excited to be with them, that I found our March break still not enough.  Therefore, I extended it to another week, which still wasn’t enough.  I had an extended march break and I was making every moment worth it.

They both took my mom and I around the place.  We drove around Austin, which is also known as the University place – UT (University of Texas).  We saw a replica of the ‘Oval Office’, ate lots of Thai food, pounds of chocolates and spend lots of time together.  We also went shopping together and took innumerable snaps.  It was very satisfying to my heart to see them after a long time.

My sister and I always had a blast when she was single and now that she was married, nothing had changed and nothing was going to change it.  Nor will our friendship budge because we are each other’s best friends.

My dad also flew down to Houston later in the first week.  WE gave him a surprise and drove down to Houston, which is three hours away from Austin.  He was shocked to see us.  He wasn’t expecting us as he had only come for a short while on business.  We all stayed at his hotel that night and had a ball of a time together.  It was like a family re-union after a year.

I can positively say that March break was definitely worth it, but the holidays weren’t enough!
