The Perfect Weekend

Many people have dreams about their
perfect weekend; going to Hawaii, enjoying the waves and so on. For me, a perfect weekend would be a day
with my friends and family with whom I have shared my secrets with and with
whom I have grown up with. My friends
were the best bunch of school friends I have ever had and no matter what, I
would never part with them.
My birthday was coming up and it
just so happened to fall on a weekend.
I planned the weekend with my friends and how good a time we would
have. I planned a pajama party and but
of course they were all up for it. We
were all so excited and could not wait for March the third. We had big plans!
It was eight pm, when my friends
arrived. We performed our group
greeting, which at end broke in laughter.
We spent time chatting and joking.
How we would play tricks on our school friends and most frequently, on
our teachers! We were a bunch of
giggles!
After digesting the wonderful dinner
prepared by my mom, we relaxed and played some sober one-minute
competitions. It was lots of fun. I blindfolded half of tem and gave them a
seat. I gave them slimy objects and
sticky foods to touch. It was a true
party the way my friends cracked up at the way the blindfolded friends made
funny faces. The room was in a mess but
to me it was worth the fun.
Later I made them eat some hot and
cold foods. The place was really
littered and spread with a bunch of laughs.
It was lots of fun. I was
enjoying my weekend more than I thought and I am sure my friends were too.
We watched a couple of movies and
before I knew it, the sun was rising.
We were awake the whole night eating junk, getting drunk with laughter
and watching comdy type movies.
We had skipped lunch and ate brunch
instead. Our brunch was pizza and that
survived us till late evening. Of
course, we often invaded my birthday chocolate cake but in an hour or two we
all had already had it in our tummies!
We went skateboarding, roller lading and bike riding. But more fun that that, we had a water bomb
fight. We were soaking wet but we knew
that the sun would dry us up sooner or later.
We went to the beach and had a good time at the mall at night.
I was really enjoying my weekend and
did not want it to end. We also had
Karaoke with the hi-fi stereo my parents bought me for my birthday. It was a load of fun all the way through.
We crank called a few of our friends
and had a jolly good time. I probably
should end right now as I would want the readers of this journal to explode
with jealousy. Anyway this was just a
glimpse of my perfect weekend that recently passed. And once again, I’ll say, ‘I had lots of fun!’
Teachers Comments: This is truly excellent work! Where did you come up with the ideas? One of the best journals I have ever read.
