Ah!  Shakespeare.  What is Shakespeare?  To me they are plays and dramas that vary in length and have great meaning embedded in them.  They come under the category of ‘Literature’.  Once you understand the old Elizabethan style language it becomes very interesting to read and then difficult to let go off. Some of these plays were ‘Hamlet’, ‘Merchant of Venice’, ‘12 Night’ and ‘Macbeth’.  Macbeth was one particular play that had something very eerie about it.  Everytime someone performs the ‘Scottish Play’ they die and therefore it is known to be a cursed play.  So frightened that people even hesitate to utter its name and instead call it ‘that play’.

William Shakespeare was a poet and a producer of plays that were very famous.  These plays were named after him.  His ‘Shakespearean’ work is still carried out today.
