It was azure dusk,

When she took out a spatula,

And poured in a formula.

A formula of dried up herbs.

Peeling the hard husk,
Was as stubborn as that of curds!

With hope she turned the silver tap,
Washed her pimply face,

And applied the formula at a pace.

She knew her pimples wouldn’t go,
But still closed the creaking tap,
And continued for herself to know.

Just then her conscience said to her,
That her face needed no softness,

But only that the cosmetic for beauty was happiness!
Removing the formula, she decorated her face with a smile,
For she knew that beauty was power

And its sword was a smile!
