Lashiec - Father of Algo
Lassic, my friend... Yours was a life filled with pain and suffering. When
you finally made it to king, you tried so hard to make others not suffer what
you did. You loved people. But when you achieved old age, you feared you
would die and wouldn't be able to help people. And so you went to an alien
religion and sought immortality. The pain it brought was almost unbearable.
And so you killed Nero, hoping for death at someone's hand to end the pain.
And when it came, it had only started.
You lived with the pain for thousands of years. When Lutz came back. You
hoped he would defeat you. So you could finally rest in peace. Doing the
Profound Darkness' work was done with fear and hope. That the pain would end.
You didn't want to, but what choice did you have? Lassic, yours was a sad
life. And still is. Your good deeds forgotten, replaced with fear and terror.
Lassic, you loved people and so were willing to sacrifice your soul. I hope
someday you find rest, my friend. To me you are remembered as a benevolent
ruler. Not a pawn or a evil bad guy. But someone who loved people more than
his own life. And so I call you "Father of Algo," and you always will be king
to us. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
