heed to the original books from which they came. The whole family will love this movie, part
one of a trilogy, and it will remain in memory for a long time to come. This movie took the
world by storm, and it will bring magic and wonder into your life.

The classic epic fantasy film that the whole family will enjoy. Magic, sword fighting, comedy,
drama, this film has it all. Story by George Lucas of Star Wars and directed by Ron Howard,
Willow is the story of a simple man who finds a baby on the river. The baby is destined to be
a princess who will one day destroy the evil queen ruling the land. It only sounds cheesy,
trust me, it's not. I loved this film as a kid and still do today. Highly recommended.

story filled with comedy, and worth seeing just for the lovely and magical settings and costumes
of the fairy forrest. |

A cute movie about the real life controversy of the Cottingly Glen fairy photographs which
people still debate about. This movie is mostly from the children's view of the event with a
few scenes in which the adults question their own beliefs. A charming family movie.

A fantastical movie with amazing images about the old struggle between good and evil. After a
unicorn's horn is stolen by the Lord of Darkness Jack must go on a quest into the darkness to get
it back and restore order. The costumes and sets are a treasure to behold. A dark fairy tale.

The young Sarah protests about having to leave her childhood and love for fairy tales behind.
She makes the mistake of wishing goblins would take her baby brother away when the goblins were
actually listening. She then has to go through the magical and perilous labyrinth of the Goblin
King to get him back. Along the way she meets all sorts of strange beings. This Alice In
Wonderland type of story features goblin puppets designed by Jim Henson and enjoyment for all
ages. The DVD includes a behind-the-scenes documentary.

The Dark Crystal [VHS]
[DVD] (1982)
A dark fairy tale enjoyed by both children and adults. Jim Henson and Frank Oz direct this tale
about two races, the sinister lizard-like Skeksis and the small elf-like Gelflings in a battle
for power. The Gelfling Jen sets on a quest to retrieve the Dark Crystal in order to restore
peace and balance. The movie still looks good today despite the lack of technology movies have
available today. Famous fairy illistrator Brian Froud designed much of the characters. The
DVD includes a 50 minute documentary.
