Updates
11/27/02
Okay, it's been even longer since I last updated. It's a year later and a lot has
changed in my life...immensly. I won't even bother trying to explain. Needless to say, I
have finally started getting my web page back in order. My last host, Eccentrix, used to be
excellent, but they seem to have been bought by another company and ever since then the service
was extremely crappy, and eventually they deleted all their old accounts...including mine.
Not liking their new policy of full page pop-ups and crappy service I've decided to leave
them. I can't even post a redirecting page at my old address since they've changed the way
the directories are set up. Jerks.
Anyway, I've started moving my site to geocities. It's not complete and you will notice some
broken links (my apologies) but I hope to have it back up again. How often I'll be able to
update it after that is very uncertain, but I'm at least going to try to restore it to it's
former glory. If you happen to find this page and on the slight chance had the old address
bookmarked, please update your bookmarks. I apologise for the huge gap in service and the
delay. Thank you for visiting.

Okay, I know it's been a loooooooong time since I updated (I'm sorry!) but I've actually been
doing stuff around the site and didn't mention it here since I didn't think anyone would notice
anyway. I've done a lot of work behind the scenes with fixing my
e-postcards page since
geocities decided to implement a no-image-linking policy which defeated the purpose for having
the account. So I had to search around for a host that allows external image linking (and that
took a while). I found one but it took me a while to do the changes as they have a retarded
system. So, I changed all the code and moved the
posty page to eccentrix
(which, by the way, I've decided I'll be transfering my entire site to...eventually), then I
fixed the background on the messageboard
for the fae page and added a pretty
banner for the top. I also fixed the image linking problem with the background and dividers on
the guestbook (see how much
geocities screwed up my stuff?). Then, my excellent and free counter service decided not to be
free anymore and so I also had to go searching around for another free counter service as soon
as possible that wasn't a really annoying and ugly counter. I had a deadline for that one and
so I did as best I could. If you know of a free counter service that is reliable and not ugly
you can email me. Then I changed the
webrings on the
fae page to refer to the
eccentrix site instead of NBCi/Xoom and deleted one that had ceased functioning as well as
copying the graphics for two of them and uploading them since geocites turned mean and messed
that up as well with their dumb new policy. So as you can now see, I've been a busy little bee;
all the while finally acquiring a social life, believe it or not. So therefore, my time on the
computer is much more limited; therefore I am apologising now for the fact that there
will be infrequent large updates to the site. Sorry, but I think I deserve to finally have a
life. I've really earned it, trust me. But don't worry, the site will still be here and I
check up on it often and will continue to make updates; it will just be more sparingly. I still
have some behind the scenes work to do which will take a while, but I have added something new
to the
hair page: an
apple cider vinegar
hair rinse recipe. I also added another
award that I won for the
fae page. Enjoy, and thanks for visiting.
And by the way, if you are visiting from the
Xoom/NBCi version of the site, please change your bookmarks to
http://eccentrix.com/artist/zebidala/ and
visit the site from there. Soon I will be changing all my Xoom pages to divert to eccentrix
when I am able to get enough time and the opportunity to sit down and do all the work. Sorry
for any inconvenience but the site looks so much better without the ugly NBCi ads.

I have created an online faerie shop
for those who are looking to buy fairy items on the web for the
fae page....I still have not made a
decision about what to do with my Xoom site as it is up and working now. Just as I was
considering switching completely to eccentrix.com, eccentrix was down for an entire day...so I'm
still not going to make a decision for a while. I will just monitor both versions of the site
to see which one is more reliable, for the time being. (For those of you who do not understand
what I am talking about regarding eccentrix.com, please visit a mirror of my site at
http://eccentrix.com/artist/zebidala/ and
read the updates page.

I am SO pissed with Xoom/NBCi...for those of you who have been here before, you may remember
this site was hosted on Xoom which was bought by NBCi. Since that merger, the web service has
gone to hell. I'm not sure how many visits I've lost because when trying to visit my page an
annoying 404 "Page does not exist" error keeps coming up. Which is total bullsh*t. NBCi keeps
losing track of my page. The strange thing is sometimes I can download graphics from my Xoom
site when I view the html files stored on my hard drive, (apparently from a page that doesn't
exist?) and sometimes not. I have today uploaded and re-written a lot of my html to this site,
which is hosted on eccentrix.com. I am not necessarily sure if I will abandon my NBCi site
just yet, as every page that has links to me, links to the the Xoom/NBCi url and I can't even
make a re-direct page. I am going to write them an angry email and see what happens. For now,
I've spent all night transfering my site to this server. All of it is up and working except the
Amidala pages. Those I will do another night.....too late....too tired right now. Please send
nasty hatemail to NBCi, demanding vengeance. I will have to figure out what I'm going to do.
For now, enjoy the ad free-ness of my site.
Please update or add a second bookmark to: http://eccentrix.com/artist/zebidala/
Let me know if you ever see my Xoom/NBCi site
actually working. Incidentally, I also snuck in 3 more awards I won for my
fae page a few days ago (and you
know, I updated that awards page without even knowing that it probably wasn't working.
DIE NBCi DIE!).

I won and uploaded another
award for the
fae page and joined another
webring for that page as well to
make a total of four so far.

I got rid of the messy Yahoo webrings and now am on 3 ringsurf webrings for the
fae page. I also won an award for that
page and added a page to
display it.
And I finally wrote an article on
being fae and uploaded it, and
moved the links around a bit on that page, with a new section for the faery
banners,
webrings, and
awards. I also added four new
images and lots of new sounds to the
faery e-postcards.

I added some banners for linking
to the fae page, and also joined some
webrings.

Okay, it took me longer than I thought, but I was having a creative block. The
fae page has been redesigned finally. A
great improvement over the last one, I think. It even has it's own
messageboard. I also added a page on
magical herbs to the new
fae page.

Yes I couldn't resist, I updated already. I added an article on
homemade hot oil treatment to
the hair page. I also moved things
around on there and put the external links closer to the bottom of the page under the reviews
and articles.

For starters, the update page is a completely new edition. Things added and updated will now be
listed here for the curious. Secondly, the main page has undergone a drastic redesign and the
original main page now serves as a title page/introduction for the site. The
fae page will also be redesigned
shortly. Also, a
guestbook was added so
visitors can now post their thoughts and opinions on the site. I think the redesigns are a big
improvement and hope you enjoy them.
