LEARN A TRICK TO MAKE BLENDER PHYSICS FANTASTIC !
many of us wanted to create a racing game and evereything is ok if you are Home
in a city . . . .
but what if you are in desert ?
it will be disaster if you make the car body act as a rigid body !
you will notice that it will keep the rotation even in un-fit status
an example of that is this iamge :
isn't that annoying
but this tutorial will help you make a Self-alteration system without
python or anything else . . . but blender !

start blender
create the car model and the texture and make the tyres it's children !
now texture it, and do what ever necessary then add a terrain
*you make a terrain with max7 using displace modifier
beggining of
tutorial :
to make S.A "self-alteration" system to the car do follows
1-create an empty "space->add->empty" and make it the car child "select the empty then while ctrl
is holded to choose a group of object you have to selct the car body secondly !
then press ctrl+p"
2-press f4 to go to the logic then make the empty actor, dynamic, and rigid body
but don't enable ghost
actor : the object that actor enabled will be part of the physics simulation
dynaimc : the object that dynaimc enabled will be affected by gravity
but if hited it will not bounce !
as example : if the bowling bottle is hitd by a ball and it is just dynamic
but not a rigid body then, it will just change its location ! but it will not rotate .
but if it is rigidbody it will rotate an a logical simulation depending on your settinges too .
*noting dynamic option let the object change its location in the three axes .
**noting that you are not able to define rigidbody while the object is not dynamic !
rigid body : the object that rigidbody enabled is able to rotae read up "as example :"
ghost : if the object is ghost enabled then it will pass through all objects .
3- make the empty in the centeriod of the tyres look here
* number 2 in the image is the logic of the empty, and the settinges numbered 1
is the settinges of the car body
4- "DO FOLLOWS just with the EMPTY not the CAR BODY !" "fourth step is just for the empty !"
if you have entered wireframe mode "acssesed by 4 on the image" you will notice
a dotted circle around the dynaimc objects. "now enter the wireframe mode and adjust size
option wich is located under actor and dynamic and rigid body "adjust it so it is not too big
and not so small" for me, 1.000 was good .
5- as you have noticed in the image, the form option must range from 1.7 ~ 4.0 or lesser
or more a bit ! ;)
form : will control the speed of S.A system, but origionally it is for controling the speed of
reaction of the object .
*not that the less the fastest reaction ! , but remeber in some cases if it is so low,
the car then will be crazy and result in failed physics if you have encountered such
thing, you must then increase this value ;)
6- make the damp 0.900 and make the rotdamp 0.945 ~ 0.995 or lesser or more a bit ! ;)
*don't enter 1.000 in rotdamp or damp because it will not move in this case !
7- enable bounds and select "Box" now we are finished of the physics of the empty
WHEW ! we are done of logic of the empty don't forget to save from a minute to another !
8- select the car body not the tyres or anything else ! then press f4
9- define actor, bounds and select box
* * * selecting something differnt than box will result in unwanted physics
* * * * now we will setup the logic of the empty, it's not hard ! it's easy with my tutorial !
