"House Zeebera" is part of The Society for Creative Anachronism. The SCA is a not-for-profit educational organization that studies mainly pre-1600 European culture by LIVING IT. An anachronism means "something which does not fit with its chronological (time) context". In our case, that means that even though the current year may be 2000 AD, we gather together to try to re-create another year by holding tournaments, festivals, feasts, and classes. The SCA is based on participation. There are no spectators. The only way to watch is to be part of the action. This can mean finding the right clothing, and learning new skills like metalworking, calligraphy, embroidery, fencing, or whatever your interest is. Within the SCA, many times groups with common interests gather together. House Zeebera is one of these groups. Some groups are democratic cooperatives, others are run by one person for a specific purpose. Master Harald Ulfson is the head of House Zeebera, and our common interest is service. Master Harald's main purpose is to teach and mentor us to become better at serving others. He also helps us to reach other personal goals in the process.
