This is my 64 Fleetside that I am in the process of Rodstoring. As of now, it has a 283 w/ 350 AT and a 3:73 Posi rear. I have lowered it in front with 3" dropped springs.

In the works is a 68 large journal 327 that will produce around 390hp with 402 ftlbs of torque.

Im planning on putting a 700R4 tranny in later to help cut back on the gas bill.

Will also be going thru the suspension and chassis....sway bars, disc brakes, power steering, and swapping to 5 bolt drums so I can put some decent looking wheels on it.

Bodywise I am at a stand still until the chassis is done...but will be changing the cab as this one has too much rot to warrant fixing. The seam sealer in the drip rail dissappeared long ago and has allowed water in from top to bottom. Ledge above windshield is eat up, along with door pillars and rockers. I figure it will be cheaper to find another cab in better shape than to try and fix this one.

The bed and fenders are in pretty good shape as this truck started out as a stepside. Bedsides are solid and still has original wood in the bed...although I will be replacing it.

Other future mods will include under the bed gas tank to get rid of the "bomb" behind the seat, seat from a later model that has seatbelts, aluminum dash panels with Autometer gauges, roll pan, cowl hood, and maybe filling the chrome holes. I havent really decided if Im going to keep the chrome or not....I've seen alot of trucks with it that looks good and alot without it that looks good.

....and for the biggie...tubbing it to make it a Pro-streeter.
