Home of the Neccos!

If it weren't enough to have big full sized dragons on board... Viridia has located an old friend of the Zekirans, Arborwin. It seems that the Agency has now found a new tiny sized flying creature, called a Necco. They entranced her immediately, chittering from their keeper's arms (hands, head, shoulder, wherever they could find a perch), and she has rounded up a collection of the adorable creatures. Considered a "Swarm" by local standards, Viridia knows that these colorful, fun little creatures are very valuable indeed. When the Zekirans land on a world, they are often in need of communications better than their own language -- or even their telepathy. Since some of their most powerful telepaths cannot land with them, being overwhelmed by the people of a world, the little helpful Neccos are able to bring messages and small items back and forth between people. At this time, it looks like all the Neccos are out for lunch or perhaps off choosing mates. Come back soon to see if they're going to swarm!

This is a spot reserved for our first Necco, from Raimo and Shogosh's mating. The egg has arrived, and now we only worry about how all the visitors to the Necco area will fit in. It's going to be greatly popular when it hatches!

Once the egg hatched, this beautiful tan-hide colored necco sprang out! Her name? Pyara, for her charming nature. She rules the roost at the present, but will that change when others arrive?

Someone bothered to turn on a light in this little jungle area! Pyara gleefully swoops down but refuses to land on your shoulder. She gazes at you from a tree branch. As if to ask, "well, where is my Swarm? Huh?" But no words come from her little mouth, and she flies off looking for more interesting things to do. She's getting bored...

At long last, there is a new arrival to the Necco's roost! Pyara has made a lot of noise about it, it's about time! The special Easter Egg Hunt at the Faidian site is where this beautiful tealy-yellow egg came from, so we expect the Necco to be unique! Not that they aren't already!

And here is SHIBA! Her name means "Grass", I thought she looked rather like a pretty tuft of it. She's a quick flier, and a constant reminder that SOME neccos are not always "quiet" to everyone... She chirps and sings to herself constantly!
