He is very tall and strong, with the Sengihr claws on his fingers, and typically bare feet. His hair is deep brown, and shorter than most Sengihrs. His skin is charcoal brown, and eyes are blue green.
He has a savant at sensing other-genre people, such as Raanatani and Aern, his senses have a slightly out of body feature to them. He can completely wipe anyone's memory, either all of it or just little bits, and his resistance to those powers found in his bloodline are very strong (in other words, if you're related to him, it won't work, whatever it is!). His strongest powers are that of complete regeneration, and of genetic manipulation. Not only can he sense the genes near him, but he has complete control over them.
He is remarkably intelligent, even more than his father (which is saying a lot!) and is just as quick on his reflexes.
Vigil remains aware of Etan's presence around the ship, even though the foul man has supposedly been long since turned to dust.
He looks for a stable, calm bond animal to keep in his quarters. Those quarters themselves are kept neat, and usually are dimly lit. Since he often goes barefoot there are few if any sharp edges anywhere in the place.
