Hi, if you do frequent my auctions, you’d notice that my auctions require a minimum rating of 1 to bid. In other words, unrated people or "newbies" are not allowed to bid. I am sure that such news are not really good news to sincere newbies. However, the reason why this implementation is so is because in the first place, it was the newbies who had forced me to implement this minimum rating! I have had newbies who bid for fun & then MIA! So to protect me, I had to have a minimum rating. In other words, don’t blame me! Blame your other newbies who forced me to do so. No seller would want to put a restriction to his/her auctions – after all, the reason we are here is to sell and get rid of our goods. So in a perfect world where there are perfect buyers and sellers, I’d have a NO minimum rating for my auctions. But sadly, the world ain’t perfect and below is a perfect illustration as to why this MINIMUM RATING of 1 will NEVER BE REMOVED:

The newbie had asked a similar question (as below) in another auction page. I had already replied her & deleted her question (and thus couldn’t get a PRINT SCREEN of it). However, being a really persistent person, she posed the same question AGAIN and thus I have to answer the same question the second time round.

Please note that I’d love to sell to EVERYONE but such an incident has taught me to be even more protective. So I’m afraid that such a minimum rating will still stand.
