About this Guide =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= I'm writing this guide in the order that I got the heart pieces in. Please bear in mind that there may be more than one way to get each piece of heart. ***************** 4. HEART PIECES ***************** **Light World** 1. In the northwest corner of Kakariko, there is a well. Jump into it by dropping off the ledge above it. Bomb the wall with the crack and go and claim your heart piece. 2. South of Kakariko Village, there is long house that is divided by two feuding brothers. Bomb the wall that divides them and go out the door on the left side of the house. Talk to the lady outside, and you will have to wind through a maze in under fifteen seconds. Talk to the boy on the other end, and he will give you the heart piece. (Much easier if you have the Pegasus shoes.) (It is also easier if you use the ledges to jump down from.) 3. In Kakariko Village, you will find a house that has a grassy roof. Go down into the basement of the house. Bomb the upper wall to find a chest with a heart piece in it. 4. Enter the lost woods via the entrance in northeast Kakariko. Continue all the way north until you find a log with an entrance. Do no go in the log. Instead, cut the center of the 3x3 array of bushes beside you. Fall in, and grab the heart piece you find down there. 5. To the left of the sanctuary, on top of the ledge, is a green colored rock. Use your pegasus boots to ram into them to reveal a cave. Go in and open the chest to find your heart piece. 6. South of Link's house, in the swamp, is a building. Go in it. Follow the path until you come to a switch. Pull on the switch to drain all the water outside. Exit the building to find a heart piece in the drained pond. 7. You will find a cave in the northeast part of the desert. Go inside. Bomb the wall beneath the wise men. Inside you will find a chest that has a heart piece in it. 8. When you exit the Desert Palace via the west exit, head south along the leadge. (Be careful not to fall off, as it gets very annoying.) You'll find a heart piece down there. but you will have to kill the vulture to obtain it. 9. Right after you get the flippers in Zora's falls, head south over the first waterfall. Now, swim to the left and climb onto the grass path there. follow the path to the left until you reach the heartpiece. 10. Our next heartpiece is on Death Mountain. In front of Spectacle Rock, witch is to the west of the warp tile, is a ledge that runs across the entire screen. Go just to the left of the dividor and drop down. You'll land on a ledge with a cave on it. Go into the cave and go to the second floor. You will find the heartpiece just sitting there. 11. Again, on top of Death Mountain, warp through the warp tile. Now, go back where Spectacle Rock would be, and use the mirror to get back to the light world. Right next to you should be a heart piece. 12. After defeating Agahnim, go back to lumberjack's house, north of Kakariko. Use the pegasus shoes to ram into the tree that the lumberjacks were cutting earlier. All the leaves will disappear (in a cool collapse picture which I love every time I see it.) Go into the tree stump, and you should find a heart piece in the cave. **Dark World** (Some of these locations are actually in the light world, but you must be in the dark world to reach them.) 1. You can't miss our first heart piece. Start at the top of the Pyramid of Power. Go down the steps and drop down one level. Go right and drop down another level. Finally, continue to the right and grab the heart piece. 2. Go SW (2 screens West: 1 screen South) of the Bomb Shop (Links' House). There, you will find a ring of bushes. Enter the ring and use the mirror to get to the light world. You will be on a ledge that has a cave on top of it. Enter the cave and you will find the heart piece. 3. Go to lake in the southeast corner of Hyrule. To the west of the Ice Palace, There is a section of shallow water surrounded by pegs. Go in the middle and use the mirror to warp back to the light world. You are now on and island and have easy access to the heart piece which is next to you. 4. Remember the 15-second race in the light world. Well, go there in the dark world. Now there is a huge treasure field. Pay the fellow eighty rupees, and you can dig in the field for thirty seconds. You get to keep anyting you find. A heartpiece is buried somewhere, but it moves every time. Just have patience and you'll find it in no time. 5. In Theives' Village, go into the buiding with a treasure chest picture above the door. It's thirty rupees to play. You get to open any two chests of your choice. Again, the place of the heart piece is random. so just keep trying. Good Luck! 6. Go to the Smithy's house (or at least where it would be) where you will find a big peg field. Use your hammer to pound all of them down. When the last one is punched down, the tree stump will turn into steps leading to a cave. Inside, you can find the piece of heart. 7. Go to the entrance of death mountain. You will know you are in the right spot because a sign will clearly tell you that the one who bears the cape will get a heart piece. Go inside and move to the second floor. Go down the path and use the handy-dandy cape to walk through the bumper. (isn't that cool) The heart piece will be on the ledge right outside of the cave. 8. In the cemetary, go to the north wall and walk up the steps onto the ledge. Again, whip out your mirror and warp to the light world. Enter the cave and bomb the wall. Finally, go through the hole and claim your heart piece. 9. Use the flute to get to the Misery Mire area. Now warp back to the dark world via the warp tile. Enter the cave to the west of the dungeon entrance. Push the stones around and open the chests. One of them has a heart piece in it. If you mess-up just exit the cave and re-enter. 10. Go to the northeast corner of the Misery Mire area. (via same route as #9) Head as far right as you can go and warp to the light world. Lift up the large green rock to show steps leading to a cave. Enter the cave and traverse the maze of rocks to reach the heart piece. 11. On Death Mountain, just west of turtle rock, you will find a cave with a large stone in front of it. Lift the stone to reveal some more steps. Go down the steps. Now go straight up and stand next to the "pit". Use ether to light up the path and walk across the pit. Bomb the wall and continue forward. Hang a left and then go down. Exit the cave and use the mirror to warp to the light world. The heart piece will be right next to you. 12. Work through Turtle Rock dungeon until you reach another exit. When you leave the level you will be on a narrow ledge. Head to the right door and warp to the light world. Enter the cave and defeat the enemies by shooting past the boundary. Knock down the pegs and head onto the next room to claim your prize. +=+=+=+=+=+=+ 5.
