The original Legend Of Zelda

           Hyrule is in danger, The princess has been kidnapped, and Gannon has returned to Destroy all who oppose him.

The First installment into the series and The BEST GAME IN THE SERIES. The legend of Zelda was a ground breaking game in many ways. LOZ was the first game to ever feature the SAVE GAME. This was made possible by a little battery that was built  onto the mother bored of the games cartridge. Allowing gamers to be able to save the game made it much more appealing to the average gamer because it meant that that they didn't have to sit down and play for hours on end just to beat it, all though the games playing style and storyline made for an exciting game that was just to hard to put down that would eventually  would cause many to skip school or miss work. Its a wonder that such hard core Zelda fans of the time still had jobs. This game would spawn many sequels that would just further its assurance as the #1 action RPG of all time. It would also have many games try to imitate its success only to be domed to lye in its forever growing shadow. Only one other RPG of its time would be a worthy rival to LOZ and that would be Final Fantasy. Though the NES's new addition would prove to be a high end seller Final Fantasy would never rise to the occasion of being the Best selling RPG on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Link Sets out to stop Gannon from getting

his hands on it but to do so he must enter 8 dungeons in which the shards are hidden.
