| The Cave and Saria |

| You must have the candle before attempting this cave. It is located south of Ruto Village. And goes from left to right. You must also have the Jump Spell too. FROM START 4 Red Octoroks, Boomerand: The Octoroks are at varying heights be careful not to get hit too much. RIGHT 1: Molluscs, boomerand. RIGHT 1: Blue Bats, Red Bat: Use the Jump spell to reach the high platform at the end. Leave the cave. (A fairy is in the forest square, right of thr cave exit) |

| They will swoop down at you. Keep right or left of where they swoop so you can hit them with your sword. |
| Block their missiles with your shield. Hit them just after they have shot a missile for safety. |
| Get between them and their boomerangs. When the boomerangs are flying away from you hit him with your sword. When they start flying back at you, turn around and deflect them with your shield. |

| Don't let them hit you, as they will drain your EXP points. Deflect their fireballs with your shield and slash them with your sword to kill them. |
| Red bats will swoop down and turn into a gargoyle when they hit the ground. Hit the gargoyle with your sword before it shoots flame and turns into a bat again. |
| Go south on the map screen, through marshland and grassland. You will see the safe yellow path. Enter the bridge battle section. Cross it and you will be on the other side of the river. |

| Follow the yellow road south and enter Saria. Some of the people here turn into monsters when you talk to them. (Red old lady, blue dress lady, red dress lady, blue beard man.) Go in the house, just past rhe halfway point of the village. Look under the table and you will find a mirror. Give it to the girl in the blue dress holding a bowl. Follow her inside her house and get the LIFE SPELL from the wise man of Saria. There is a sleepy slime in a house. Talk to it repeatedly and it will tell you his master lives in the forest north of the river. Leave Saria and go back over the bridge. Go into the forest north of the yellow road. In the middle there are battle screens. Bouncers are in these screens, once you have cleared one, enter the square next to it and hopefully you will be at a house. Go inside and talk to Bagu. He will give you a note. If you go back to Saria and show this to the guard, a bridge will appear and you can cross over the river anytime. |

| Will come bouncing at you. Time it right and slash them with your sword. Not difficult. |
| They will come at you if they see you. Keep low and hit them with your sword once to kill them. Easy! |
