Kagome
	This young girl, no matter how old she WANTS to be, accidently stumbles across a well near her family shrine. Unknown to her, this well is actually a "time machine" that sends her back to Japan's Fuedal Era where the yokai are big and nasty. She later finds out she's actually the descendant of the anciet Miko no Shikon no Tama (Jewel of the Four Souls Priestess). The Shikon no Tama, if purified, is thought as being the most powerful being in the universe and this miko was thought o be a protector of this jewel. Kagome tends to have the worst (and maybe, by the fangirls- best) of luck whenever she falls down the well. Inu Yasha, a tempermental dog demon, is found pinned to an ancient tree which Kikyo (Kagome's descendant) had pinned him to before she died. Kagome releases this demon and, literally, all hell breaks loose. Kaede, the Kikyo's younger sister, uses her miko powers to conjuer up a necklace that "tames" the wild dog-demon, Inu Yasha with just one word- "OSWARI!" ("SIT!") Kagome, now truly the Miko no Shikon no Tama, rightfully protects the Jewel
