| Linda's real name is Svetlana Geiman. She was born on the 29th of April, in 1977, in the little town of Kentau in Kazakhstan . In Moscow she studied singing in Gnesinka. Linda first broke onto the Russian music scene in 1995 with her album, "Pesni tibitskikh lam." Her music tackles social issues such as drugs, and war, and she is described as "an angst ridden singer". She works with Maksim Fadeev, and is one of Russia's biggest musical acts. Her newest album, "Zrenie" hit stores in April 2001. |
