Hello and welcome to my site.
My name is Zeza, I'm 26 and I have diabetes since I was 10 years old.
I live in Croatia, a small country in the southern Europe.The city I live in (Zagreb) is the capital of Croatia and it has a very good clinic for Diabetes.
Unfortunately, because we are a small and rather poor country, we are a bit behind in medications for diabetes.
The reason I started this site is to try to connect young people with diabetes from all over the world so we could help each other.
I had a hard time dealing with diabetes until I got my computer and started using the internet. There I saw some great sites and met very brave people who helped me with advice or just a word of hope.I'm trying to do the same.We all know it's not easy to live with diabetes and belive me, it's easier when you know you're not alone out there.
So basically this site is for young people with diabetes but older people are welcome to participate as well.
There is a Sweet life forum where you can talk about diabetes, give or ask for advice and many other things.
There is also a Diabetes News group where you can post any news you hear about diabetes.
I also started to write a blog which you can read here.
