Zander:Listen you can enjoy Christmas for both of us. Em:But I wanna be with you. Zander: But not all the time. Why should you have to be here all the time? This place is a pit. Em: Look I'm staying so you might as well forget it.

Emily: I couldn't sleep really, I wanted to come see you. Zander: Your supposed to be on vacation.
Em: I could have been killed last summer right, when I was in that sleazy motel room and you stopped them from making me OD... Zander: Emily that's not what I'm talkin' about I'm talkin' about what happend at the police station yesterday. Em: Oh when you saved my life again?
Em: Maybe I shouldn't have kissed you. Zander: It was ok. Emily: Zander, all I know is that things are too jumbled up for me right now. Maybe when you get out I can figure some things out.
Zander: Whether I like it or not? Em: You like it fine. (Long Pause) You know you like it. (Zander laughs)
Zander: Do your parents know your this stubborn? Em: It's hard to miss.
Em: Why do you sound like your saying goodbye? Zander: I don't know. When your in here you think about things. I just don't want anything left unsaid. Em: Did something happen?
Em: That's not good enough for me. Zander: What are you gonna take on the judge now? Em: I'll do whatever it takes to get you out of here. Zander: You already have
Em: Your not just some cause, you matter to me. Zander: Why? Em: Zander why do we have to put a label on it? Why can't it just be what it is?
Em: Like when we were driving down that dirt road and there was nothing for miles except for cows. I was driving way to fast and my arm hurt and all we knew is that the police could come over that hill any second. But all we could do is just laugh. Zander: Yeah. Em: I want it to be that way. Zander: So do I.
Juan(to Emily): Well it's not a big deal to me so you need to lighten up and stop acting like a brat! Lucky: You stop acting like a jurk.

Jonny: Carly wants her earrings back. Alexis: Your joking right? Jonny: No unfortuneately I'm not. Alexis: Hearts may be broken, families devestated, but diamonds are diamonds and Carly wants them back. Jonny: There kind of important to her. Alexis: I'm sure they are. Could you hold this for me? Jonny: Sure. Alexis: You know the thing you've gotta love about Carly is that she keeps it all so simple. Jonny: Sometimes. Alexis: Tell her thanks alot. Jonny: I will.
Gia: There letting Zander back on the streets? Liz: Well they let blackmailers roam around so why not Zander? Lucky: Ok I think we had better get to Deception for my mom's suprise birthday party.
Zander: Why don't you go down to that pond where there's ice skating? It will give you fresh air and clear you head.
Zander: If they can shove a note under my door they can do alot worse. Alexis: Asking someone to deliver a threat is different than asking someone to commit murder. Zander: Look I am not backing out. I know this is my only chance. I WANT THIS TO BE OVER!
Zander: You've been great Emily. You stood by me. I've never had that before...someone in my corner.
Zander: One night when I was driving, it was early when we had started, I was too scared to sleep and driving fast made me feel safer and better. And just kept thinking to myself say something too her she's scred too. And then I thought what would I do if she flipped out and jumped out of the car or somethin'? And then I looked over and you were sleepin'. Just like a little angel.
Zander: I said to myself if she can sleep like that, she can't be terrified of me. That was good. I mean it got better along the way ya know, but for that one second, it was really good.
Zander: You look amazing...in that dress.
Zander: Here we go again. What do you want me to help? Tell her I'm scum, tell her to go away? Sorry man I've already heard the lecture. Lucky: No you know what?! I figured it was high time to figure out what the hell Emily sees in you that's worth saving! Zander: Oh like you believe what I say? Lucky: I'm Emily's oldest freind. She's mine. If she has faith in you, I'm willing to listen.
Lucky: Every afternoon Emily is in here with you. Shutting herself off from her family and her freinds. For some reason she has tunnel vision when it comes to you. All she cares about is getting you out of this mess. It's reckin' her life man. Zander: You think that's what I want? Lucky: I don't know. Why don't you tell me?
Zander: Every time Emily comes in here she makes it seem like everything is gonna be ok. Lucky: All Emily thinks about is you. She separates herself from everything. Including her freinds at school. You know while the rest of them are trying to figure what's goin' on for college or who there taking to the New Year's dance, she in here obsessing over whether or not your gonna get the death penalty or not! She's fighting for you every second Zander!
Lucky: She's got nothin' left for herself. Zander: Well if you her freind then help her. Lucky: Why do you think I'm here? Zander: You wanna support Emily. Lucky: Yeah. Zander: That's why your here? Lucky: Uh huh. Zander: Then try listening to her for a change. And quit judging her. She dosen't need someone reminding her that she's or or that I'm scum! Why don't you TRY taking it easy on her? Lucky: Which will also make things easier for you right?! Zander: Yeah that's it man, I'm in it for me.
